The Wicked Wings Club was originally formed in March 2005 as the Toowoomba and District Para/Hang Gliding Club. A group of enthusiastic Para glider pilots saw the need for a structured organisation that could act as a point of contact for flying, negotiate with landowners, and provide a social focus for local pilots. Over the years, the club has steadily grown its membership, attracting new members due to the dedication and promotion of the sport by its committed pilots.
The club boasts a range of well-maintained sites that cater to a variety of wind directions, ensuring that pilots have suitable launch points for both Para gliders and Hang gliders.
