Toowoomba Road Runners

Welcome to the Toowoomba Road Runners (TRR), a sports club in Toowoomba dedicated to promoting health and fitness, fostering a positive social atmosphere, and encouraging participation in Australia's Garden City. Whether you are a beginner or a sub-elite runner, TRR provides year-round opportunities to exercise and organises major running events catering to all abilities.

TRR offers nine organised runs throughout the week, each catering to different running abilities. From Tuesday intervals to Wednesday and Sunday social runs, there are options for everyone. Beginners are particularly encouraged to join these sessions to improve their running skills and connect with fellow members.

As a club with a rich history, TRR has organised two major events, the TRR Murphys Creek Challenge and the Toowoomba Marathon. These events showcase the club's commitment to promoting running and provide exciting challenges for participants. TRR is also proud to support various local running events, including the Peak2Park, Mother's Day Classic, 40 for Fortey relay, and Run with Dad. Additionally, the club annually donates to local charities such as Hope Horizons, the Queensland Police Legacy Scheme, and Drought Angels.

Membership with TRR grants access to the weekly runs and exclusive club events. From the annual Christmas lights run to parkrun adventures and regular social gatherings, members can enjoy a vibrant and supportive community of fellow runners. The membership fees are affordable, with individual membership costing only $40 per year and family membership priced at $55 per year. Prospective members are welcome to try out a couple of runs with the club before committing to membership.
