The Top End Drift Association was formed in 2007 and has evolved immensely over the past 10 years. TEDA uses the V8 Supercar track, Hidden Valley Motorsports Complex. It is a fast 2. 87 km long track, with two main sections for drifting, one offers big entries, but with tight corners, including a hairpin and the back section offers a slick long double apex, transitioning quickly onto the main straight.
We also use turn 1 which allows for entries in excess of 150kmh into a very long large radius 3/4 corner.
One of TEDA’s main principles is keeping the “Hoons” off the street by providing a safe and legal place for people of all ages and driving abilities to learn and practise advanced driving techniques. We do this by offering a lower level event on the wet and dry skidpans at Hidden Valley with senior members present to offer tips and advice on car set-ups and assist with developing driving skills.
