Tweed Valley Rollers (TVR) is a co-ed, volunteer run, not-for-profit, legally registered roller derby club. In keeping with the world-wide roller derby philosophy, TVR is ‘run by members, for members’.
Established in 2009, TVR now maintains an average of 50 members, taking in skaters from Northern Gold Coast right down to the North Coast of NSW. Known for creating a fun, inclusive and supportive atmosphere for our skaters, TVR are proudly true to the spirit of Roller Derby, welcoming skaters from all walks of life, no matter what their skill level, to join of our Derby community.
TVR works to create a family friendly, inclusive, athletic and supportive environment, where skaters can achieve their goals at their own pace. Our league is ‘co-ed’ and support the development of both women’s and men’s roller derby.
TVR host several home games a year, inviting local and interstate leagues to play our travel teams – The Valley Vixens, Valley Vikings and Valley Valkyries . Our teams also travel frequently throughout the season to play interstate teams and compete in tournaments.
The league also hosts an Intra-league season, where our women’s home-teams battle it out for home-turf glory many times throughout the year.
