United ITF Taekwon-Do Australia Inc. is the ONLY recognized Independent National Organization (INO #23) representing the International Taekwon-Do Federation in Australia.
Founded in 1998 by Master Michael Muleta, 8th Degree, United ITF expanded to include additional schools around Australia. United ITF was incorporated in 2002, becoming the National Organization, upon the re-structuring of the International Organization.
Consequently, United ITF Taekwon-Do Australia is the largest organization in Australia representing the International Taekwon-Do Federation. Made up of quality schools and instructors all around Australia, United ITF is always keen to welcome suitable new members.
ITF Taekwon-Do is a registered school of the International Taekwon-Do Federation, (ITF). Our Taekwon-Do syllabus adheres closely to the techniques and teachings of the Founder General Choi Hong Hi (dec).
The main objectives of ITF Taekwon-Do are to provide high quality martial arts classes and opportunities for students. As a result, we seek to develop their skills and moral culture.
The main objective of I.T.F. training, as we regard it, is to maintain the true value of ITF Taekwon-Do as self-defense, not merely a tournament sport. Students who study with discipline, application and dedication will be greater people with knowledge and skills. And, more importantly, with morality and sense of humanity, not merely the ability to kick and punch.
