About

The Warrawee  Bowling Club (WBC) has a long tradition.  It was founded in 1907 as the Ku-ring-gai Recreational Company Ltd providing facilities for cricket, tennis, bowls and croquet.  In 1910 croquet was discontinued and all lawns were converted into bowling greens.  Croquet was revived in 1987 and in June 1989 the Warrawee Croquet Club (WCC) was incorporated within the Bowling Club.

The Croquet Club has its own constitution and is controlled by the WCC Management Committee.

The area set aside for croquet is larger than is needed for one court, therefore our green can be converted easily into 2 slightly smaller courts to accommodate more players at one time.  These courts are available for play on all days except Monday, when lawn maintenance normally takes place, and for private &/or corporate use, by arrangement.

LOCATION

The Club is on the Pacific Highway near the junction with Fox Valley Road.  Parking is available in our car park near the Club House or in our other car park on Heydon Avenue.  There is also easy access by train from the nearby Warrawee Station.

PLAYING DAYS

On Wednesday and Fridays 9:30am for 10:00am play. A draw is held for Games and, when approved, on Saturday mornings and afternoons, shown on the Playing Schedule. At other times games are by arrangement between Members, and subject to agreement by the Greenkeeper.
