To become the Wembley Lacrosse Club we know today. Since then, the club has continued to grow and thrive, becoming a prominent force in the lacrosse community in Perth.

Wembley Lacrosse Club prides itself on its inclusive and welcoming environment. Players of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join, from beginners to experienced athletes. The club strongly believes in promoting the sport of lacrosse in Western Australia and providing opportunities for everyone to get involved.

The club offers a range of teams to cater to different age groups and genders. They field Modcrosse, Junior, and Senior Men's and Women's teams, providing options for players of all ages. Whether you're a young junior just starting out or an experienced senior player, Wembley Lacrosse Club has a team for you.

The club website is a valuable resource for both players and parents, providing information about upcoming events, important announcements, and social highlights. It's a great way to stay connected with the Wembley Lacrosse family and get a feel for what it means to be a part of the club.

Wembley Lacrosse Club has a rich history that dates back to 1938. It was founded by Harold Clifton, a shopkeeper in Wembley, and initially comprised players recruited from the local Scout troop. The club started with a single team and has grown steadily over the years. In 1953, they won their first A grade premiership, and by 1954, they had five teams and 70 players.

In 1966, the women's lacrosse club was established and eventually merged with the men's club in 2008 to form the Wembley Lacrosse Club.

As a club, Wembley Lacrosse values community and acknowledges the custodians of the land. They pay respect to the Wadjuk people of the Nyoongar nation, their elders past, present, and future, and recognise their ongoing culture and connexion to the land, waters, and community.

To join Wembley Lacrosse Club, visit their registration page on the website to find out more information.
