West Gippsland Volleyball Assocication

The West Gippsland Volleyball Association (WGVA) is a dedicated sports club located in Baw Baw Shire, Australia. Our main objective is to promote the sport of Volleyball in the West Gippsland area, while also maximising participation, providing competitive opportunities, and increasing the public profile and support for this exciting and challenging sport.

Our competitions are held every Thursday evening at Bellbird Park in Drouin, excluding school holidays. We offer two adult divisions that are open to mixed male/female/junior teams. Division 1 is tailored for advanced players with a higher skill level, while Division 2 is more social and welcomes players of all standards, from beginners to experienced.

While our focus is primarily on adult competitions, we do allow children to participate under certain conditions. Children are required to play alongside an older relative or trusted family friend who will be responsible for their safety and behaviour. Additionally, children should be at least 13 years old and possess reasonable ball and reflex skills. It's important to note that the game can involve hard serves or spikes, and accidental clashes with adult players may occur.
