Westcoast Callisthenics Club is a local sports club based in Geelong, Australia. Located in the vibrant Armstrong Creek area, the club offers a range of callisthenics classes for individuals of all abilities. Whether you are an experienced callisthenics member or new to the sport, Westcoast Callisthenics warmly welcomes you to be a part of their community.
As a child safe club, Westcoast Callisthenics is dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and young people who participate at the club. All coaches are accredited Level 1 qualified coaches through the Victorian Coaches Callisthenics Association (VCCA) and hold valid Working with Children Checks and First Aid Certificates, providing assurance and peace of mind to parents and participants.
The club's classes commence at the beginning of February each year, and the competition season starts in July. This gives members ample time to develop their skills and prepare for their performances. Westcoast Callisthenics aims to foster a love for callisthenics by promoting inclusion, team work, skill development, friendship, and most importantly, FUN!
Westcoast Callisthenics proudly celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2024, showcasing its long-standing commitment to the sport and the local Geelong community. The club operates from two venues, namely the Armstrong Creek East Community Hub on Central Boulevard and the Vines Rd Community Centre in Hamlyn Heights (reserved for Masters only).
