Westernport Basketball Association

The Westernport Basketball Association (WPBA) is a sports club located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in the Mornington Peninsula Shire of Australia. The club offers basketball competitions and development opportunities for individuals of all ages and skill levels. With close to 3,000 members, the WPBA is a thriving community that provides weekly competitions throughout the year. The club offers multiple programmes and teams to cater to the diverse needs and interests of its members.

For junior players, the Western Port Steelers is the club's representative team that competes in the Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL). With teams ranging from under 12 to under 20, the Steelers provide young players with the opportunity to develop their skills and compete against other talented players in Victoria.

For senior players, the WPBA has four teams that compete in the Big V, Victoria's State League. These teams showcase the high level of basketball talent within the club and provide an exciting platform for players to strive for success.

In addition to the representative teams, the WPBA also runs a growing domestic competition that runs two seasons per year. This competition is open to players of all abilities and provides a fun and competitive basketball experience for everyone.
