Wests Boomers Baseball Club

Wests Boomers Baseball Club, established on April 26, 1994, is a thriving community baseball club located in Sydney's Inner West, serving Junior and Senior players in Balmain, Rozelle, Lilyfield, Leichhardt, Annandale, and surrounding areas. Our home ground is Glover Street Sporting Ground in Lilyfield.

At Wests Boomers, our primary focus is on providing opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels to participate in the great sport of baseball. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the game. In addition to placing players in junior and senior graded teams, we also offer opportunities for individuals interested in getting involved in non-playing roles, such as scoring, umpiring, coaching, and managing.

Each summer season, which runs from September to late March, we host the highly anticipated Summer Season 2023/24. Registrations for this season are now open, so make sure to secure your spot as soon as possible. For junior players, we have the RHBL (Ryde Hawks Baseball League) competition, catering to ages 2-18. Senior players (16+) can participate in the PCBL (Pacific Coast Baseball League).

During the winter months (April to August), we offer a Winter Baseball season exclusively for senior players (16+). Unfortunately, there is no winter competition available for junior players. Limited places are available in some teams, depending on player experience, age, and skill. While we strive to place players in teams that suit their abilities, it is not always guaranteed, and players may need to play in a higher or lower grade.
