With over 20 years of experience, Westside offers a wide range of dance classes for students ranging from two years of age to late teens. The club provides playful dance classes for the under 5's and exceptional training in ballet, jazz, lyrical, acro, tap, drama, hiphop, and cheer for tweens, teens, and beyond.
At Westside, students thrive within a diverse curriculum that is founded on an unshakeable passion for dance. The club offers a variety of creative outlets, ensuring that every child can find their place and pursue their love for dance. From Mini Movers and Groovers to Elevate, there is a class for every age group and skill level.
Westside is proud to have a team of 11 experienced teachers who are dedicated to providing exceptional instruction and guidance to the students. With a student base of 200, the club has created a close-knit and supportive community. Throughout the year, Westside showcases the talents of its students through 85 shows, providing them with numerous opportunities to shine on stage.
One of the highlights of being a part of Westside is the opportunity to participate in international tours. Every five years, the club organises a trip to the USA, where students get to dance at iconic locations such as Disney World and the Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas. These trips also include workshops to expand the students' skills and create unforgettable memories and lifelong friendships.
Westside is led by the passionate principals, Jenine and Laura, who have extensive experience in the entertainment industry. They bring their expertise and knowledge to provide top-quality training and guidance to all their students. Many children who have trained at Westside have gone on to pursue full-time dance and drama courses, and some have even appeared in commercials, TV shows, and musicals.
