In 2001, the WhISPers Softball Club was established when three Indigenous women, including former Australian representative Joanne Lesiputty, established an Indigenous Softball team to compete in Canberra’s Softball competition.
Boasts a number of junior and senior teams, and welcomes people from Indigenous and non-Indigenous backgrounds.
