Whitford Junior Football Club

Whitford Junior Football Club is a community sports club located in Perth, Western Australia. Established in 1974, it has become one of the largest junior football clubs in the state, with a community of nearly 900 players. The club aims to provide its members and their families with the best footy experience in WA, and is run by a dedicated group of volunteers who are passionate about the sport.

The club caters to both male and female players at all levels, from Pre-primary to Year 12. It believes in making junior football fun, healthy, and enjoyable for players and their families. It has seen numerous players pass through its ranks and go on to enjoy success in the AFL, including Brett Heady, Andrew Donnelly, Mark LeCras, Josh Rotham, Oscar Allen, Michael Pettigrew, Nathan van Berlo, Steve Browne, Josh Smith, and Maggie MacLachlan. With the addition of the AFLW, the club anticipates more female players making their mark in the future.

As the club approaches the 2023 season, it is excited about some upcoming developments. New infrastructure is set to be introduced, ensuring an even better experience for the players. Additionally, the club will be launching new merchandise, allowing members to show their support in style.
