The Willetton Tennis Club was a part of the Willetton Sports Club for over 30 years until the Sports Club ceased its operations. As a result, the tennis club decided to go on its own and the Willetton independent status along with other sporting associations in the area. Since then the club has been operating as a nonprofit sporting organisation to serve the communities in the Willetton and surrounding by beautiful parklands. It is also just across the road from the major Southlands Shopping Centre.
