Willoughby Badminton Association

Willoughby Badminton Association is a social community group located in Sydney that shares a love for badminton. The association serves as a meeting point for like-minded individuals once a week to play a lively and friendly game of badminton at different skill levels. Whether you are a top player or someone who enjoys playing on weekends, if badminton is your sport, you are encouraged to join the club.

The association offers novice to expert badminton players the opportunity to meet new people from the local community and form connexions through their shared interest in badminton. The club welcomes anyone who wants to be part of this fun group. All you need to do is bring your badminton rackets, wear comfortable clothing, and have a pair of good indoor sporting shoes. Don't forget to bring your water bottle and towel as well.

The association provides the net and shuttles for the games.

The games take place at the Willoughby Leisure Centre, located at No. 2, Small Street, Willoughby Road, Willoughby 2068. The club is currently accepting new memberships, and visitors are also welcome to join in on the games. The membership fee for a year is $225 per person, while members pay $13 per person, and casual players pay $20 per person.

The playing schedule for the association is every Sunday from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm unless otherwise stated on the notice board. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the association has put in place necessary precautions. The games will resume on specific dates as listed in the notice board. It's important to note that there will be no badminton on certain dates due to court maintenance. Additionally, the association will be closed for the festive holidays (Christmas and New Year) from December 12 to January 14.
