Situated just a 2. 5-hour drive North from Brisbane and a 2-hour drive South from Hervey Bay, Wolf Rock Dive is conveniently located for divers from various regions. The dive centre is located 2 km off Double Island Point and was designated as a marine sanctuary in 2003 due to its significance as the only known gestation site for the critically endangered Grey Nurse Shark on the East Coast of Australia.

The consistency of sightings is so reliable that they actively participate in research and citizen science projects. The dive site is home to numerous fascinating marine creatures, including Grey Nurse Sharks, Manta Rays, Leopard Sharks, Eagle Rays, Blotched Fan Tail Rays, Sea Turtles, Olive Sea Snakes, Giant Queensland Grouper, and even Humpback Whales during winter.

Being in proximity to the Great Barrier Reef, Wolf Rock Dive offers a diverse range of marine life, from Tropical and Subtropical reef fish to various pelagic species. Macro enthusiasts will also be delighted by the abundance of Nudibranchs, Pipe Fish, Frogfish, Eels, Octopus, Sea Apples, and more.

In addition to their regular dive charters to Wolf Rock, Wolf Rock Dive also offers enriched air nitrox for safer diving and extended bottom time. They provide daily dive charters, weather permitting, with a start time of 8 am at the dive centre and a return time of around 2 -2:30 pm.

For those interested in acquiring diving skills, Wolf Rock Dive offers a range of PADI dive courses from Open Water to Divemaster. However, introductory courses are not conducted at this location due to its depth exceeding 18m.
