At Wonthaggi Auskick, children can start participating in Auskick in the calendar year they turn five, regardless of their previous experience in Aussie Rules. The programme is designed to disguise learning as playing, ensuring that kids have a blast while developing their skills on the footy field. We prioritise safety and fair play by dividing Auskickers by age and even offering optional all-girls groups.

Sessions at Wonthaggi Auskick run for just one hour per week, allowing kids to engage in the sport without overwhelming their schedules. There's no need for expensive equipment - Auskickers can wear whatever they feel comfortable in. We believe that game-based activities create an atmosphere of organised chaos that is not only exciting but also helps build confidence in participants.

In addition to the fun and friendship that comes with Wonthaggi Auskick, registered Auskickers receive a unique pack of exclusive footy goodies. They are also entitled to an Auskick Junior Club Membership for the AFL club of their choice, including access to games. And the cherry on top? The chance to play halftime at AFL and AFLW elite matches alongside their footy heroes.
