Katherine has been very fortunate to practise various yoga styles in many parts of the world, over the past 15 years.

She received her teaching qualification from Byron Yoga in Bali and has participated in workshops and training at Yoga Synergy, Body Mind Life and House of Yoga in Sydney, Sunray Retreats and Essence of Living on the Gold Coast and Yoga Unlimited in New Zealand.

Vinyasa Flow is Katherine's style. Postures are executed with the emphasis on synchronising movement with breath and correct bodily alignment. This in turn develops strength, flexibility, and grace. Nurturing the individual practitioner's body awareness and learning to modify postures to prevent injury, is also emphasised.

“No matter what your physical abilities may be, if you listen to your body, you will get the most benefit out of your practise day after day”.

Katherine is a member of Yoga Australia and a volunteer Yoga teacher at Jarrah House, a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic in Sydney's Eastern suburbs.

Classes are delivered with a great sense of joy, encouraging a deep and focused yoga practise that is also a lot of fun!
