The Yungaburra Bowls Club has a rich history dating back to 1948. The original clubhouse was built through the efforts of club members and volunteers, and over the years, the club has seen various improvements and additions. In 1978, a new tif-dwarf green was officially opened, and in 2008, a synthetic green was laid. The club's green is named “Bob Pritchard Green” in honour of long-time member Bob Pritchard.

The club welcomes both men and women bowlers, and visitors from other clubs are encouraged to join in the social games held on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. While the club prefers participants to wear bowls clothes, it is not necessary, but flat sole shoes are required on the green. On Wednesdays, the club hosts a Ladies Mixed Social game, while Fridays are dedicated to a mixed pairs game. The first and third Saturdays of each month feature a mixed self-selected 3's game organised by the men.

Club competitions are primarily held on Wednesday and Sunday mornings.

Green fees vary depending on the day of play, with Wednesday and Saturday games priced at $8, and Friday games at $10. Juniors receive discounted fees of $5 for Wednesday and Saturday, and $7 for Friday. The fees for club membership are $80 per year, with reduced rates available for juniors.
