A3 District

A3 District is a renowned dance production and rehearsal studio located in Burnaby, Canada. The studio offers a dynamic Street Dance program that focuses on providing quality training and mentorship to dancers of all levels. A3 District prides itself on creating a safe, positive, and inspiring environment where dancers can come together to share, motivate, and create.

The vision of A3 District is to provide dancers with the opportunity to hone their skills, develop their creativity, and learn valuable life and leadership skills that extend beyond just dance. The studio's instructors bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, ensuring that dancers receive top-notch training that takes them to the next level. The program at A3 District covers production, choreography, freestyle, performance, competition, and encourages dancers to discover their own artistic voice.

Founded in the summer of 2013 by Jane Marlinga and Roberta Bierman, A3 District was born out of a shared passion for dance and a desire to create a space that eliminates the limitations faced in other dance facilities. Jane and Roberta, both highly involved in the dance community, wanted to challenge their creative boundaries and provide a platform for artists to come together and collaborate.

The studio's faculty includes talented choreographers and instructors such as Erik Perena, Julia Bose, Elwin Alpuerto, Chris Bonus, Carlo Atienza, 'Prince' Nii Engmann, and Kristina Linden. Each member of the faculty brings a unique perspective and skill set to the table, enriching the learning experience for dancers at A3 District.
