Abbeyleix Tennis Club is situated in Fr Breen Memorial Park, just off Abbeyleix's main street.
The club has five synthetic grass courts, recently refurbished, with floodlighting on all five.
Yes. Social tennis evenings are on Mondays for Intermediate/Advanced, Wednesdays for Beginners/Improvers, and Fridays for teenagers attending secondary school.
Social tennis works on a doubles format and you are paired with a different member each session.
Prospective new members are welcome to try the social sessions out twice before committing to join the club.
Yes. Abbeyleix Tennis Club has a strong cohort of Junior/Juveniles and runs a Friday social tennis session for teenagers attending secondary school.
There is a large clubhouse with changing rooms, showers and toilet facilities, plus a kitchen and a reception room area upstairs with a balcony overlooking the park and courts.
