Abbeyleix Lawn Tennis Club plays tennis in Abbeyleix, based in Fr Breen Memorial Park just off the town's main street. The club has five refurbished synthetic grass courts with floodlighting and a practice wall area, plus a large clubhouse with changing rooms, showers and toilets. With over 200 adult members and a strong junior cohort, it runs social tennis evenings on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and new members can attend twice before joining.
