Join the fun with Kate and her amazing team at Aberdeen Academy of Performing Arts (AAPA)! Whether you’re a complete beginner or a dancing pro, AAPA has a class for you – from tiny tots aged 18 months to the young at heart adults.
Fancy trying tap, ballet, modern jazz, musical theatre, acting, highland dancing, street dance, contemporary, lyrical acro, commercial dance, or acrobatic gymnastics? You name it, they’ve got it. Everyone’s welcome, and there’s always something new to learn.
Take it from Archie, who felt a bit shy joining a class mostly full of girls. But he soon found a great group of mates and now he’s smashing it in tap, ballet, jazz, and acro. It’s all about stepping out of your comfort zone and having a laugh.
Why do kids love AAPA? Well, here are five reasons. One, they’ve got crazy cool opportunities like performing on-stage at Disneyland Paris. Two, the teachers aren’t just any teachers – they’re professional, super experienced and really care about every single student. Three, it’s all about making friends and having a blast together. Four, there’s the chance to get involved in shows and competitions, with many students going on to top colleges in London. And five, the academy feels like one big supportive family.
