Welcome to Actifun Riding Stables, located in Kaitoke, New Zealand. At Actifun, we believe in the power of horse riding to teach valuable life skills such as assertiveness, compassion, responsibility, persistence, persuasion, performance, and achievement. Our goal is to help individuals of all ages and backgrounds build physical strength and agility, balance and poise, hand-eye coordination, and self-confidence.

We offer a range of activities and services to cater to different needs and preferences. Private one-on-one lessons are available for those seeking personalised instruction. These lessons are designed to build confidence and improve riding skills. We also offer physical and mental rehab programmes for individuals who require specialised support.

For families and groups, we have weekend fun days where you can spend the whole day playing and interacting with our horses. We also organise holiday programmes and camps to keep children engaged and entertained during school breaks. For those who enjoy trekking, we offer trekking experiences for all ages, allowing you to explore the beautiful scenery of Kaitoke and its surroundings.

Moira, our “Camp mother,” leads our team at Actifun. With over 22 years of experience in riding and teaching, she is dedicated to providing entry-level riding lessons that focus on balance and coordination. Nowell, Moira's partner, brings his expertise as a painter and decorator. Together, they ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Our team consists of 15 horses and ponies, each with their own unique personality. They love meeting new people and providing them with unforgettable riding experiences. We have horses and ponies suitable for riders of all sizes and skill levels, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and confident during their time with us.
