Emerson holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama and Theatre Studies from Swinburne University and has been involved in the performing arts industry for over 10 years. They have extensive experience in teaching and coordinating drama programs, working with students of all ages and skill levels.
As School Coordinator, Emerson is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the studio and ensuring that students have a positive and enriching experience. They also teach drama classes, focusing on building performance skills and encouraging creativity and self-expression.
Andrea Houchen, another School Coordinator and Teacher at Action Drama Studio - Greensborough, shares Emerson's passion for creating an inclusive and welcoming environment. With a background in performing arts and teaching, Andrea brings her expertise and dedication to every class she teaches.
Sam Coats, the Dance Coordinator at the studio, adds another dimension to the program. Along with teaching acting, dancing, and singing, Sam ensures that students have the opportunity to explore their physicality and movement skills through dance. With a wealth of experience in the dance industry, Sam brings a high level of expertise and enthusiasm to their classes.

Founded by Suzanne Barr, Action Drama Studio - Greensborough has been providing top-quality theatrical and screen experiences for over 16 years. Suzanne, who holds a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from Swinburne University, as well as a Masters of Education from Melbourne University, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the studio.
As the Founding Director, Suzanne has worked tirelessly to create a non-hierarchical and student-centered school. She believes that every student deserves a chance to shine and is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where students can learn and grow.
In addition to her teaching experience, Suzanne has also worked professionally in the industry, with credits in productions such as “Room to Move,” “Fallen Angel,” and “Satan's Rainbow.” Her passion for teaching and the performing arts is evident in her dedication to providing top-quality experiences for every student at Action Drama Studio - Greensborough.
