Advanced Taekwon-Do International

Generously shared their wisdom and knowledge, Grandmaster James Lim founded Advanced TaeKwon-Do International (ATI) to further enhance the technical competency of licensed instructors and to promote the martial skills and philosophy embedded in the art by Gen Choi Hong Hi.

Grandmaster James Lim, a 9th Degree Black Belt, began his TaeKwon-Do journey in 1965 under the direct supervision of Pioneering Grandmaster of TaeKwon-Do Choi Chang Keun (CK Choi) in Malaysia. Over the years, he has trained under various renowned Grandmasters and has dedicated his life to promoting and teaching ITF TaeKwon-Do around the world. Grandmaster Lim's efforts eventually led to the formation of ATI, where he now serves as the President, offering personal guidance to TaeKwon-Do students and assisting member schools in growing their businesses and membership.

The first ITF TaeKwon-Do school (Dojang) was opened by Grandmaster Lim in St-Rose, Laval, Quebec, Canada, where he continues to conduct TaeKwon-Do classes to this day. With a passion for the art and a wealth of experience, he is a pivotal figure in the history of TaeKwon-Do and an inspiration to all who love the art.

Advanced TaeKwon-Do International is dedicated to upholding the principles and teachings of Gen Choi Hong Hi, offering a supportive and enriching environment for students to learn and grow. The school provides a range of classes, from beginner to advanced levels, catering to students of all ages and abilities.
