Adventure Dolphin

Adventure Dolphin is a canoe and kayak club and outdoor activity organiser based in Reading, New Zealand. The club aims to engage young people and adults with the opportunity to experience adventure sports and is run by volunteers who are passionate about sharing their love for the great outdoors.

As a registered charity, Adventure Dolphin offers a wide range of river-based activities and community classes. The club is situated on the banks of the stunning River Thames, providing direct access to the meadows, recreation ground, and the thriving village of Pangbourne. The venue boasts panoramic views and can be hired for private events and activities. With a large and flexible indoor space, it is suitable for anything from birthday parties to dance classes, Tai Chi sessions, and corporate functions.

Adventure Dolphin is proud to be a centre of excellence for the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme and is affiliated with clubs that provide facilities for all levels of the award. Additionally, the club offers paddlesport activities through its partnership with the Pangbourne Paddlesport Club. During school holidays, Adventure Dolphin runs holiday clubs in partnership with Wild Adventures, providing young people with exhilarating and engaging outdoor experiences.

Indoor climbing is also available at Adventure Dolphin, with accredited courses designed for all ages. The club offers a safe and supportive environment for climbers of all levels, from beginners to experienced climbers looking to improve their skills.

In addition to its core offerings, Adventure Dolphin hosts a wide range of other community-led classes. These classes cater to various interests and skill levels, providing opportunities for individuals to learn and develop new hobbies.

To keep the community engaged and informed, Adventure Dolphin organises various upcoming events. These events include NICAS Climbing Courses, which are held on Wednesday evenings due to popular demand.
