OUR MEMBERS // The AFAP represents over 4,500 professional flight crew across Australia. Our members include airline pilots, helicopter pilots, and flying instructors. We welcome pilots from all sectors of the aviation industry, including both commercial and general aviation.

SERVICES // The AFAP offers a range of services to its members to support their professional and personal well-being. We provide industrial and legal advice to assist pilots with any employment-related queries or issues they may face. Our accident and incident training helps pilots to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to respond effectively in emergency situations. Safety and technical services provide guidance and resources on safety regulations and standards, while welfare services offer assistance and support for pilot well-being.

Additionally, our Women's Network and New Wings programme aim to promote diversity and inclusion within the aviation industry.

EVENTS // The AFAP organises various events throughout the year to foster community and engagement among our members. We hold seminars, conferences, and workshops on topics relevant to the aviation industry. These events provide opportunities for pilots to network, learn from industry experts, and stay updated with the latest developments in aviation.
