Alex Klein Iyengar Yoga

Alex Klein has been a dedicated Iyengar Yoga teacher for over 20 years, based right here in Bridport, Dorset. Alex holds weekly classes in Netherbury and offers live online streaming sessions as well.

Her yoga journey began back in 2002, when a deeply moving experience during a relaxation session at the end of a class set her on this path. By 2005, Alex started her teacher training with the Iyengar Yoga association and has been imparting her knowledge since 2006.

Every two years since 2009, Alex has travelled to Pune, India, to continue her studies with the Iyengar family, ensuring her teaching remains authentic and current. Her latest trip was in 2018.

Professional growth is key to Alex, and she's always taking assessments to better her skills. In November 2019, she earned the “Senior Intermediate Level 2” certification, reflecting her commitment and expertise.

Her students often praise her clear instructions, hands-on help, and adaptive teaching for those with specific needs. Alex's friendly and patient manner fosters a supportive and positive class environment.
