Alpine Equestrian Centre is a boarding and training facility located just minutes from Collingwood. Led by EC certified competition coach, Jessica Ruppel, the centre offers coaching and training for riders of all ages and abilities. With over 15 years of experience in international competition, coaching, and training, Jessica brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the facility.
At Alpine Equestrian, the priority is to provide a clean, organized, and safe environment where riders can enjoy their horses year-round. The facility boasts outdoor dressage and show jumping rings, a cross-country schooling area, a seasonal grass ring, and kilometres of hacking trails for riders and horses to explore. Additionally, a large insulated indoor arena is available for training, especially during the colder months.
Jessica's passion lies in 3-day Eventing, but she also works with riders in dressage and show jumping. She organizes training sessions and clinics with top specialists in each discipline to enhance her students' training and broaden their perspectives. Over the years, Jessica has helped several young riders progress from introductory levels to international competition, with some even representing Ontario at prestigious championships.
The grounds at Alpine Equestrian include numerous grass paddocks with shelters for small group turnout, as well as spacious and bright stalls for horses to stay content while indoors. The facility also features two heated lounges equipped with amenities such as a kitchen, eating area, lockers, and arena viewing windows for spectators to enjoy lessons, clinics, or training sessions.
