Altitude Fitness Armidale (AFA) is a Yoga studio located in Armidale, Australia. With a goal of ensuring that clients enjoy their training and look forward to working out, AFA aims to help individuals achieve great results through structured daily workouts. They understand the importance of getting started and keeping clients enthusiastic about their training.

One of the key aspects of AFA is their belief in training the person, not just the body. They focus on empowering men and women to achieve a lifetime of fitness, health, and self-worth. Founded in 2009 by Ali Flynn, AFA offers a wide range of fitness programmes and classes to cater to the diverse needs and goals of their clients.

Ali, the founder and director, has an impressive background in counselling and therapy, with over 10 years of experience. She has also trained in various disciplines including Pilates, Boxing, Pre and Post Natal Fitness, Strength and Conditioning, Biomechanics, Mobility Functional Training, and Vinyasa Flow Yoga. As a fitness coach, leader, and mentor, Ali is heavily involved in designing every workout and class with dedication and expertise. This ensures that clients never do the same programme twice and that their results and experience with AFA are constantly improving.

The AFA team also includes other remarkable individuals who bring their knowledge and expertise to the studio. Tilly Brauer, a PT and class instructor, has 10 years of experience in the fitness industry and a passion for strength training and high-intensity interval training. Willow Noakes, another class instructor, specialises in cardio and whole body fitness and strives to find challenging avenues that clients enjoy.

Hayden Freeman, an Ironman coach and class instructor, has a deep-rooted passion for triathlons and has been racing since the age of 15. He has trained in elite squads around the North West area and represented NIAS at the Academy Games. Leisa Hunt, a class instructor, is a client turned trainer who started in a beginners class at AFA. She has since completed numerous events, including half-marathons and half Ironman's, and has a passion for strength training.

Brittany Freeman, a swimming coach, has been coaching for over 6 years and is dedicated to teaching individuals of all backgrounds about swimming.

Lastly, the AFA team includes their beloved mascot, Alfie. Joining the team in July 2018, Alfie helps educate clients and staff on running techniques, wilderness survival, and plyometric training. He is regularly seen at sporting events in the community.
