First-time riders will start off on the lunge with one of the school's quiet ponies or horses, ensuring a comfortable and safe learning experience. Lessons at Amberley Riding School are available on weekdays during the school term, from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. All riders are required to wear helmets during lessons, and helmets can be borrowed from the school. Parents of riders need to sign an Indemnity form before participating in lessons. In such cases, the coach will inform riders via text, ensuring ample notice. For all other cancellations, a 24-hour notice period is required, otherwise, a charge for that lesson will apply.

Prices range from $45 for a 30-minute private lesson, which is recommended for beginners, to $100 for an hour-long private lesson.
