The studio offers a wide range of classes led by experienced and certified teachers. Sarah, the owner, is a certified 300hr Yoga Alliance teacher, with additional qualifications in pre & post-natal yoga, children's yoga, and yoga for trauma & addiction. Her classes reflect her fun and laid-back personality, allowing students to enjoy their practise at their own pace.
Sian, another dedicated teacher at Anahata Yoga Leeds, holds a 270hr qualification in Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin yoga. She believes that yoga is a practise that brings harmony to the mind, body, and soul. As a body-positive personal trainer and divine feminine embodiment coach, she guides students through classes with a focus on improving body confidence.
Kate, a teacher since 2021, completed her Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher training with Jamie Blowers. She discovered yoga by chance five years ago and was immediately drawn to the vigorous nature and routine of Ashtanga. For Kate, yoga not only helps build strength and flexibility but also provides a way to quiet a busy mind. Join her on Monday mornings for an energising Ashtanga class.
Lucy, another experienced teacher at the studio, decided to deepen her practise by pursuing teacher training. She quickly discovered her love for working with and teaching others. Lucy is trained in vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, and Nidra. Her classes aim to bring a sense of calm and strength to students' days, and she can be found teaching Yin Yang on Thursdays at 12:15 PM.
For over 11 years, Binny Chadha Saandal has shared her extensive experience in yoga practise and theory with students all over the world. Her teaching reflects her access to the living oral tradition and her decades of dedicated practise. With a background in satvik living, natural sciences, yoga, meditation, mantra chanting, Ayurveda, and holistic nutrition, Binny has a rare ability to convey the richness of spiritual life in our contemporary world. Binny leads the studio's Pre Natal Classes on Saturday mornings.
