Angela Rowe School of Dance

In her hometown of Ipswich, where she trained at various dance schools and performed in numerous local productions. After gaining extensive experience and knowledge in the dance industry, she decided to start her own dance school in Ipswich, and thus the Angela Rowe School of Dance was born.

The Angela Rowe School of Dance offers a wide range of classes in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, and Contemporary. They welcome young dancers aged 2+ years to train with them, take part in exam classes, and annual performances. The school aims to develop their students' knowledge of dance technique and performance, confidence and self-esteem, creativity, and physical health.

With a passion for both dance and teaching, Miss Anna ensures that each student receives the highest quality of dance education. The school follows the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus for Ballet, which is internationally recognised for its quality and provides opportunities for progression and achievement. They also follow the Imperial Society of Teachers Dancing (ISTD) syllabus for Modern Theatre, Tap, and Jazz. These syllabi focus on developing dance technique while promoting creativity and musicality.

The Angela Rowe School of Dance offers a variety of Ballet classes for different levels, ranging from Pre School to Advanced levels. They also offer classes in Modern Theatre, Tap, and Jazz, catering to students of all ages and abilities. Additionally, they have a Contemporary class recommended for students aged 11+ years, which introduces the fundamentals and vocabulary of Contemporary dance in a creative and collaborative environment.

In addition to regular classes, the school also provides performance and summer school opportunities. They organise annual summer schools that expose students to new art forms and techniques, and biennial performances that enhance their performance skills and prepare them for the theatre.
