Anna Michelle's School of Dance is a welcoming and inclusive dance school located in Derby, New Zealand. Established by Anna Fisher, a passionate dancer herself, the school aims to provide high-quality dance education to students of all ages and abilities.

Anna Fisher, the principal of AMSOD, has been dancing since the age of 5 and has always had a love for teaching dance. With years of experience teaching in various dance schools across the county, Anna opened AMSOD 15 years ago to create a community-based dance school known for its honesty, professionalism, and equal opportunities for all.

Anna is not only a qualified dance teacher but also a qualified Occupational Therapist with specialisation in Paediatrics. Her extensive knowledge of child development and disability allows her to create an inclusive environment where every student can learn and have fun. Lessons at AMSOD are structured around the International Dance Teachers Association syllabus, ensuring the best possible tuition for students.

Joining Anna in teaching at AMSOD is Miss Charlotte, who started dancing at a young age and has continued her training in various dance styles. She has completed her IDTA Associate Freestyle qualification and IDTA Associate Ballroom qualification and is currently working towards gaining her IDTA Associate Latin qualification and IDTA Level 4 diploma in Tap. Miss Charlotte is actively involved in AMSOD's whole dance school shows and events.

Another dedicated teacher at AMSOD is Miss Dayna, who has been dancing since she was 2 years old. She pursued her passion for dance during her education, obtaining a BTEC Nation Diploma in Dance and a foundation degree in Dance and Theatre Arts. Miss Dayna has been teaching ballet, tap, contemporary, and musical theatre at AMSOD for the past 13 years. She appreciates the friendly and fun atmosphere at the dance school and enjoys teaching alongside Anna.
