Welcome to the Ann Langley School of Dancing, a premier dance school and instruction in Shepperton, Middlesex. With a focus on adult ballroom and Latin dance classes, our school provides a fun and enjoyable learning environment for individuals of all skill levels. Whether you are looking to learn to dance or improve your existing skills, our classes offer a great way to stay active and enhance your social life while making new friends.

Conveniently located at the Village Hall on High Street in Shepperton, our classes are easily accessible to residents in the area. To join our ballroom and Latin classes, simply email us at langleydancing@hotmail. Com. Be sure to book your places early for our upcoming 2024 sessions, where you will learn various dance rhythms including the Waltz, Cha Cha Cha, Tango, Jive, Quickstep, Rumba, Social Foxtrot, Mambo/Salsa, Slow Foxtrot, and Samba.

Our beginners' ballroom and Latin classes are held from 7:30pm to 8:30pm with a choice of three nights: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. For those at an improver or intermediate level, classes are held from 8:30pm to 9:30pm. Classes can be booked in advance through email or paid for in cash on arrival for a single class.

When it comes to footwear, we recommend light and comfortable options. For ladies, court shoes with a round toe and a smooth, thin sole are ideal. Men should opt for light shoes with a smooth, thin sole and a round, soft toe. Trainers and dance sneakers are acceptable for beginners, but boots are not allowed on the dance floor.

Our dress code is casual, allowing you to wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We welcome both singles and couples to our classes, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to learn, have fun, and socialise with other members. In our beginners' group, all Ballroom and Latin rhythms are taught to a social level, providing a solid foundation for further classes throughout the year.

The Ann Langley School of Dancing is led by Ann Langley, a member of the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). With years of experience in dance instruction, Ann is dedicated to helping students achieve their dance goals and enjoy the many benefits of learning to dance.
