Alex Overy, the organiser, runs A. O. Tae Kwon-Do & Self Defence, a well-known martial arts school in Hampshire, UK. The school follows the Chang Hon Tae Kwon-Do style, founded by Major General Choi Hong Hi.
Alex Overy is pleased to share that A. O. Tae Kwon-Do is a part of Tae Kwon-Do Council UK.
At A. O. Tae Kwon-Do, everyone is welcome, regardless of age or ability. Beginners and those with prior experience can join the friendly club to learn new martial arts skills. No prior knowledge is needed, just patience and perseverance.
Tae Kwon-Do offers more than self-defence techniques; it provides a goal and focus that benefits mental health. As students progress at their own pace through the belt system, Alex and his dedicated instructors will support and guide them.
Joining A. O. Tae Kwon-Do means becoming part of a supportive community. The school, operational since 1994 and led by Alex Overy since 2017, is the most successful Tae Kwon-Do club in Romsey.
Classes are available five days a week, with two to three sessions per day to suit all ages and abilities, from four to sixty-four. The school is situated at Countess Mountbatten, offering a great training space.
The positive experiences of students highlight the school's quality. Laura, a parent, mentions how her children, aged 4 and 6, love the Little Ninja sessions and are eager to learn new skills. Elizabeth, a beginner, shares how the classes helped her overcome insecurities and learn self-defence in a supportive environment. Tom, another parent, praises the knowledgeable instructors and inclusive atmosphere.
In addition to regular classes, A. O. Tae Kwon-Do offers after-school clubs at various schools, organised upon arrangement. The aim is to provide high-quality Tae Kwon-Do training and promote community and personal growth among students.
Whether you're looking to learn self-defence, build confidence, or enjoy martial arts, Alex Overy's A. O. Tae Kwon-Do & Self Defence is the place for you.
