Their Baby, Toddler, and Young Child programmes are designed to encourage parents to actively participate in their child's earliest learn-to-swim experience. These classes provide a supportive and playful environment for bonding and learning from each other.
Swimming with your baby not only strengthens your parent-child relationship but also supports their development, including personality, social skills, and motor skills. Aquababes NI believes that laying the foundation for a child's interest in learning to swim at a young age is crucial. Their classes are designed to encourage independent swimming in children as young as 2 to 3 years old. While they may not guarantee a gold medal at the Olympics or create world-class swimmers, they do provide careful and expert guidance for a unique experience of fun and constructive learning.
Aquababes NI offers three types of swim classes. For babies aged 3 to 12 months old, there are structured lessons divided into two progressive levels – Part 1 Foundation Level and Part 2 Improver Level. Toddlers between 12 to 30 months can join the Mastery Programme, which is specifically designed to meet their developmental needs. Lastly, children aged 2 1/2 to 7 years can participate in swim lessons structured around the STA's International Learn to Swim Programme.
