Aquarius Dive Club, based in CFB Esquimalt, Victoria, BC, is a thriving community within the Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services. Established over 50 years ago, it has become the largest active dive club in the Canadian Forces and one of the oldest in Canada. The club is open to the Canadian Armed Forces community and associates, offering boat dives, trips, and occasional courses instructed by experienced professionals.
Members of Aquarius Dive Club have the opportunity to explore a variety of dive sites both locally and abroad. From diving on wrecks such as the Boeing 737 Wreck in Chemainus and HMCS Columbia in Campbell River to discovering the rich marine life in Telegraph Cove, Aquarius Dive Club provides divers with endless opportunities to explore the underwater world. The club also organizes trips to tropical destinations like Roatan, Honduras, where attendees can enjoy multiple dives per day while staying at a conveniently located dive shop and hotel.
Membership in Aquarius Dive Club is open to divers of all skill levels. To join, individuals must review the club's Constitution, By-Laws, and Safety Policy, complete the application package, and provide proof of their highest level certification. Membership fees vary depending on the type of membership, with special considerations for Associate members. An unlimited air fill permit is also available for an additional fee, providing divers with convenient access to air fills at the club's facilities.
