AquaTeach

Welcome to AquaTeach, a swimming club located in Ipswich, New Zealand. AquaTeach is run by Kate and Sophie, two experienced and passionate swimming instructors. The swim school operates exclusively at Murrayfield Primary School Pool, which boasts a 16-metre by 6-metre pool and two large changing rooms. The community centre offers ample off-road parking for parents.

At AquaTeach, we offer swimming lessons and tuition in a safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages and abilities. Our classes are kept small, with a ratio of 5 children to 1 teacher, ensuring personalised attention and accelerated learning. All of our instructors are fully qualified by either the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) or the Swim Teaching Association (STA) and hold current DBS checks and IOS insurance, guaranteeing that your child is in capable hands.

Our mission at AquaTeach is to noticeably improve your child's swimming skills, stroke technique, stamina, and speed with every lesson. We are dedicated to creating a happy and safe learning environment for all our students. To facilitate this, our classes are held in private swimming pools, away from the distractions often found in public pools.

Since our establishment in 2009, we have accumulated over 15 years of experience in the swimming teaching industry. We have worked with non-swimmers all the way up to national level swimmers. Both Kate and Sophie are qualified by the ASA and are members of the Institute of Swimming. Furthermore, all of our teachers are either qualified RLSS Lifeguards or hold a current National Rescue Test for Swimming Teaching certification.
