Arbeau Muay Thai (AMT) is a Muay Thai/Kickboxing team located in the heart of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. Founded by third-time World Muay Thai champion Peter Arbeau, our gym is dedicated to empowering individuals through the art of Muay Thai. Recognizing the close-knit spirit of Rocky Mountain House, we are committed to contributing to the well-being of our community.

Muay Thai, also known as the “Art of Eight Limbs,” is a traditional martial art and combat sport originating from Thailand. Renowned for its efficiency in both self-defence and sport, Muay Thai utilizes a combination of fists, elbows, knees, and shins to strike opponents. It emphasizes a fluid and dynamic fighting style, blending offensive and defensive techniques seamlessly. Characterized by powerful and precise strikes, clinch work, and strategic movements, Muay Thai provides a comprehensive approach to physical fitness, mental discipline, and cultural heritage.
Head coach and founder Peter Arbeau has 7 titles to his name, with 54 fights under his belt. Peter is a 4-time Team Canada Representative and recently fought and won in the 2022 World Muay Thai Cup. His passion for Muay Thai and training inspired him to start AMT, where he continues to mentor and train individuals of all skill levels.
