Archery GB: Chelmsford Tudor Rose Archers is a Chelmsford-based archery club that caters to both beginners and experienced archers. During the Summer months, the club shoots at Writtle College Sports Ground, providing members with an outdoor shooting experience. In the Winter, the club moves indoors to the sports hall at Sandon School, ensuring members can continue shooting throughout the year. In addition to weekly shooting practise and occasional members' competitions, the club also participates in County league competitions and occasionally hosts indoor and outdoor competitions for the County.
Chelmsford Tudor Rose Archers welcomes archers of all ages and abilities. The club has a junior section that is fully integrated into the club and actively participates in County and National competitions. In fact, the club boasts Junior Outdoor and Indoor National Champions in their respective age groups and one member who represented Great Britain in 2008.
To foster a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere, the club encourages family participation and is fortunate to have a number of family members within the club. Archery is seen as a family sport, and members have the opportunity to bond over their shared passion for the sport.
