In May of 2020, Area 63 Motorsports Park obtained the development permit to restore the facility and has since been working on various upgrades to enhance the safety and functionality of the track.
The not-for-profit volunteer team and sponsors have been dedicated to improving the track, including upgrading safety features, in-field pit design, and spectator area safety fences. Partnerships with local businesses such as Home Hardware, Sunbelt Rentals, and FirePros have been instrumental in making these improvements possible. Additionally, the water truck is sponsored and maintained by LaPrairie Crane, while Bishops Towing provides support in various aspects of the racing experience.
