Park in the Anglers car park before Stoke Lock Wood and take a short walk to the river. Don’t forget to travel light or bring a barrow for the 200-yard stroll. Day tickets are available for the road stretch, which boasts 29 permanent pegs. You can find booking info on the camp’s website.
Please note, pike fishing is off-limits from April 1st to September 30th. Make sure to read the predator angling rules before you start.
Other fishing spots like Ferry Field and Nelson Field are accessible via the gated road. Parking is available behind the pegs or along the tarmac road, just don’t block the path. For updates, check the camp’s noticeboard regularly.
Gary and the bailiffs, Paul Hazeldine, Jennifer Eddishaw, and Jason Eddishaw, ensure all rules are followed and the site is kept in top shape. Remember to lock the gate at the top of the lane, drive slowly, and take all litter home, even if it’s not yours.

The road stretch is our day ticket water with 29 permanent pegs, and Day Tickets are for the road stretch only. For cheaper day tickets, you can book via the day tickets page.
Please park in the Anglers car park just prior to Stoke Lock Wood. The stretch can be accessed via the gated road from Stoke Bardolph near the Ferry Boat Inn, and the Weir is accessed via the same route with the Lock Gates offering access to the island.
Make your own peg without hacking the undergrowth more than necessary, and remember the hardcore track along this section is a Public Footpath where no vehicles are allowed. Members must not obstruct the track with equipment.
