In terms of recent news, Ashville Football Club had a tough outing against Stockport Georgians, resulting in a defeat away from home. Despite a strong start, our team was unable to maintain the lead and suffered a second-half implosion. Similarly, a late goal from a ten-man Sandbach United denied us a victory in another closely contested match.
Despite these setbacks, we remain optimistic and continue to fight for success on the field. Our players showed great resilience in a recent game against Stockport Town, putting up a valiant second-half performance. Although we fell short, the determination and comeback spirit displayed by our team were commendable.
Unfortunately, our FA Vase run came to an end in a match against South Liverpool. Despite a spirited effort, we were unable to progress further in the cup competition.
