Apart from regular yoga asana classes, Gokula House also provides meditation and relaxation programmes, yoga philosophy classes, learn to meditate classes, and the popular Sunday Kirtan Meditation evening. Attending these classes will leave you feeling energised, relaxed, and peaceful.
The centre offers various styles and class options suitable for all age groups and levels, with a focus on nurturing a healthy mind and body. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner, Gokula House provides affordable classes at only $10 per session, ensuring that yoga is accessible to all.
For those interested in meditation, the centre offers courses for both beginners and individuals who want to deepen their practise at home. The “Deep Peace” fully guided sessions are designed to create a state of pure relaxation for the mind, body, and heart. The warm and experienced meditation teachers will guide you through the process, making it accessible and beneficial to all.
One special offering at Gokula House is The Mantra Room, also known as the Sunday Spiritual Gathering. This event features beautiful sacred Kirtan meditation, an inspiring talk on the timeless wisdom of yoga, and a delicious vegetarian meal. The chanting of sacred mantras in this gathering aims to transport participants to a place of peace, harmony, and spiritual awakening. It is also a great opportunity to make new friends, inquire about spiritual topics, and nurture your spiritual growth.
This event is held every Sunday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, with a suggested donation of $10.
To further enrich your understanding of yoga philosophy and spirituality, Gokula House offers classes on ancient wisdom from the Bhagavad Gita. Led by Tadatmanah das, these classes will delve into topics such as meditation, the meaning of yoga, reincarnation, and the secret to lasting happiness. These classes, held fortnightly, are suitable for both dedicated yoga students and beginners who wish to deepen their understanding of their eternal spiritual nature. The classes are offered free of charge, although contributions are greatly appreciated.
