Campbell Houston invites the sports community to explore Aspire Martial Arts, a trusted martial arts school in Salisbury, Wiltshire, since 1999. Offering classes such as ITF TaeKwon-Do and Modern Day Kickboxing, alongside Little Dragons for ages 4-6 and Dragon Hatchlings for ages 2½-4, Aspire boasts multiple locations for added convenience.
Aspire Martial Arts isn’t just about learning techniques—it’s about fitness, self-defence, making new friends, and discovering new hobbies. Members gain increased stamina, better awareness, confidence, and improved focus. There’s also a vibrant social scene to enjoy. With professional, high-quality instruction, everyone can set personal goals and achieve success.
The team at Aspire is led by Campbell Houston, Chief Instructor, who started at 8 and now holds a 5th-degree black belt. An experienced International Instructor, examiner, and umpire with ITF, he’s also trained in FAST defence. Rachel Houston, a 2nd degree black belt in both TaeKwon-Do and Kickboxing, heads the Little Dragons and Dragon Hatchlings classes. Wendy Moscrop, inspired by her kids, has been training since 2004 in Kickboxing and since 2008 in Taekwon-Do. Wendy is a third-degree black belt and an approved BTC instructor. Amanda, teaching since 2003, is the Chief Instructor in Poole and a member of the British Taekwon-do Council.
Aspire offers a two-week free trial for all new members. The focus is on Taekwon-Do, promoting self-defence through physical and mental conditioning. "TAE" means foot techniques, "KWON" refers to hand techniques, and "DO" represents the art or way. Thus, Taekwon-Do translates to "foot-hand-way."
At Aspire, students delve into five main areas of Taekwon-Do: traditional techniques, sparring, and self-defence, preparing them for both sporting and real-life situations. Come and join, and see the difference for yourself – Campbell and the team look forward to welcoming you.
