Atherstone Tae Kwon-do Club is proud to serve the Atherstone sports community and beyond. Located in the town, the club offers dedicated training in Tae Kwon-do, a Korean martial art known for its emphasis on hand and foot techniques.
The club is under the expert leadership of Master Simon Loveland, who holds a 6th Dan black belt. His extensive experience ensures that all students receive high-quality instruction to help them reach their martial arts goals.
The club welcomes individuals of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners. Whether the aim is self-defence, fitness, or a fresh perspective on life, Tae Kwon-do offers a valuable experience. Master Loveland stresses that true mastery of martial arts comes from consistent, hard training, rather than passive learning.
Training sessions are available several times a week. On Tuesdays, sessions run from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Atherstone Leisure Centre Memorial Hall on Long Street. Thursdays see training from 7 pm to 8 pm at Arden Parish Hall, Castle Bromwich in Birmingham. Additionally, there are sessions on Saturdays from 10 am to 11:30 am back at the Atherstone Leisure Centre Memorial Hall.
For newcomers curious about Tae Kwon-do, the club offers free taster sessions during regular schedule times. This is a great opportunity to experience the training environment and see if it suits you. The club places importance on training with a variety of ages and grades, reflecting the unpredictable nature of potential real-life confrontations.
Families are especially encouraged to join. A special promotion allows parents who train with their children to receive their first month free, making it easier for families to support each other on their martial arts journey.
