ATJ Dance School

Established in 1997 by Rachel Webb, All That Jazz Dance School is a fun, friendly, and encouraging dance school located on Hobarts Eastern Shore in Lindisfarne. At ATJ Dance School, they believe that everyone should have the opportunity to dance, regardless of the reason. They love taking children and young adults on a journey of dance and discovery, where they learn skills and lessons that will stick with them for life.

ATJ Dance School has seen hundreds of students come through their doors, but it's so much more than just a dance school. Owned by Brooke Hill and with her team of 8 teachers/junior assistants, ATJ offers theatrical, jazz, tap, lyrical, and acrobatic classes. They seriously have a class for anyone and everyone aged 2 years and above! The teachers and staff at ATJ have a deep love and passion for dance and teaching, helping students gain self-confidence and nurturing them to be the best they can be.

With decades of combined experience, parents can rest assured that their children are in the best hands with the team behind ATJ.

ATJ Dance School is proud to offer a wide array of classes each week, catering to any young person looking to experience dancing and performing. Their class structure features a warm-up, corner-work (technical progressions), and choreography based on the style of the class. Leading up to performances, such as competitions or their annual concert, most classes will work towards routines in each style.

For the little ones, ATJ offers classes devised to focus on learning dance through play, music, and discovering rhythms, beats, and styles. As students progress into intermediate and senior classes, intensity increases as they delve further into each style while still retaining their core ethos of fun, fitness, and friendships.

ATJ's motto is “Where Everyone's A Star,” and they live this every day, in every class, and every performance. They pride themselves on “rotating the stage,” ensuring that every student has their chance to shine.
