Atlantic Martial Arts Club offers a comprehensive range of martial arts training. The main focus of our training is Kempo Ju Jitsu, which is an exciting fusion of Aikido, Judo, and traditional Japanese Ju Jitsu. Our students learn a variety of techniques, including blocking, striking, joint-locks, throws, modern ground-fighting, and grappling. We believe in a well-rounded approach to martial arts and also teach traditional weapons training.
Students will have the opportunity to learn traditional Kata using Japanese weapons such as the Nunchaku, Jo staff, and Bokken.
Self-defence is another important aspect of our training. We understand the importance of knowing how to protect oneself in various situations, so we provide practical self-defence techniques that can be applied in real-life scenarios.
Classes take place every Tuesday night from 7:30-9:30 pm at The Scout Hut, Lyburn Hall, Brook Close, Timperley, Altrincham, WA15 6RH. Our instructors are highly experienced and dedicated to providing the best training experience for our members.
Atlantic Martial Arts Club welcomes members of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or have previous martial arts experience, we have a place for you. To join the club, simply come to one of our Tuesday night classes and speak to one of our instructors. They will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have.
Sensei Reg Stone is the founder of Atlantic Martial Arts Club, holding a 7th Dan in Ju Jitsu and a 4th Dan in Judo. His expertise and passion for martial arts have shaped the club's unique style and curriculum.
Sensei Chris Stone, a 6th Dan in Ju Jitsu, serves as the chief instructor of the club. His extensive knowledge and experience ensure that members receive top-quality training.
Sensei Dave Else, a 4th Dan in Ju Jitsu, is an experienced instructor who plays a vital role in teaching and guiding our members.
